501(c)(3) · Pinellas County & statewide
Homes people can keep.
We acquire real estate the market left behind and turn it into lasting affordable housing focusing on low-income households, veterans, fixed-income older adults, disabled adults, and youth leaving foster care.

The work
Florida doesn’t have a people problem. It has a housing problem.
Empty houses and unhoused families are a policy failure we can physically undo. Home Save Solutions buys, receives, and restores properties — then keeps them affordable on purpose.
We are a 501(c)(3) organized so the work can take gifts, grants, surplus land, and donated real estate, and turn them into addresses that last.

Who we serve
Five groups the market is most willing to forget.

Rent versus a living wage
Low-income households
Florida has hundreds of thousands of extremely low-income renter households and only a fraction of the homes they can actually afford.

After the uniform
Veterans
Florida is home to one of the nation’s largest veteran communities. Too many still leave service into housing that is unstable, unaffordable, or unsafe.

Aging in place
Fixed-income older adults
Fixed incomes do not stretch across Florida’s rising rents, insurance, and property costs. Displacement in later life is a housing failure, not a personal one.

A home that actually fits
Disabled adults
Accessible, affordable housing is scarce. Too many adults with disabilities are asked to live in places they cannot enter, use, or keep — or they are not housed at all.

Aging out of care
Youth leaving foster care
When young people age out of care they are often asked to become adults overnight, without a family home to return to. Housing is the first thing that has to be real.
How a leftover house becomes a home
Acquire. Restore. House. Steward.
01
Acquire
We take on real estate the market has left behind: donated homes, distressed and overlooked properties, surplus public land, and houses that still have life in them if someone will do the work.
02
Restore
We rehab to a standard a family can be proud of — safe, code-worthy, efficient enough to keep — not flipped for maximum resale. The work is local. The finish is a home, not a listing.
03
House
We place low-income households, veterans, fixed-income older adults, disabled adults, and youth leaving foster care into those homes with rents and occupancy terms people can actually meet.
04
Steward
Affordability is the point, so we keep it. Through nonprofit ownership and long-term covenants, the home stays a home — not a short-term asset.

Why we can do this
We don’t wait for someone else to rehab the house.
Home Save Solutions is built around the trades. Acquisition without restoration is a vacant lot with better paperwork. Restoration without stewardship is a flip. We hold the whole chain so a donated bungalow can still be affordable ten years from now.
Give a property
A house you no longer need can become someone’s first stable address. Donated real estate is the most powerful gift we receive.
